Washington, D.C.–based restaurant Medium Rare is set to debut its newest location in the Watertown area at the Arsenal Yards development.

Locally famous and universally loved for its steak frites, Medium Rare offers a fun and friendly dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere that has gained acclaim and currently operates four locations across the United States.

Each of Medium Rare’s menus provide a mix of simple yet sophisticated dishes. Favorite items include its famous culotte steak and hand–cut fries, brunch staples like steak and eggs and eggs benedict, and desserts including a six-layer carrot cake and “Grandma’s Apple Pie.” The eatery offers a unique wine and beer list at each location to round out a perfect meal.

What Now Boston connected with co-owner Mark Bucher who confirmed that the Watertown location is in the very early stages of the opening process saying, “It might take up to a year. We are very excited for sure.”

According to Arsenal Yards’ website, Medium Rare will be landing in the space next to Pokeworks. This article will be updated as new details continue to emerge.
