According to a tweet by @FortPointer, Chef Santos plans to retain the existing furniture, fixtures, and equipment in the space, making minimal alterations to the layout, except for the introduction of an outdoor patio.

Citrus & Salt is known for its coastal Mexican cuisine and crafty cocktails, featuring favorites such as the Beef Birria Tacos, Grilled Street Corn, and Mexican Mule. The restaurant also serves brunch, with shareable plates, sides, and drinks.

With its distinctive blend of flavors and commitment to preserving the charm of the original space, the upcoming Citrus & Salt location promises to be a seamless extension of Chef Santos’s culinary vision.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that Citrus & Salt was expanding with a second location. In fact, it is relocating from the Back Bay to Fort Point.
