Arsal Jaffery, CEO of Reliance Hospitality Group, the franchisee behind this venture, told What Now Boston that the upcoming outlet is just one of 22 planned for Massachusetts and Connecticut. While other locations haven’t been disclosed yet, eager customers can expect to find Taco John’s in various Massachusetts hotspots.

Renowned for its Mexican-inspired menu featuring burritos, tacos, and quesadillas, Taco John’s was established in 1969 and has since expanded to include 365 locations nationwide. The eatery also offers signature Potato Olés—round potatoes fried to perfection and seasoned with Taco John’s distinct spices—as well as nachos, bowls, salads, and desserts.

Keep an eye out for updates on the opening date of the Downtown Boston location, as well as news about additional Taco John’s outlets coming soon to the area.
