According to an Eater Boston article, The Dead Rabbit plans to open a new location somewhere in Boston in 2025. While the specific address has yet to be disclosed, a lease has been signed somewhere in the city.

The Dead Rabbit was named the best bar in the world in 2016 and has earned numerous other accolades over the years, solidifying its reputation as the world’s most-awarded pub.

In addition to the upcoming Boston location, The Dead Rabbit opened a new site in Austin, Texas at the beginning of this month and plans to launch a Washington, D.C. locale later this year.

Founded by Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon in 2013, the original The Dead Rabbit boasts three stories: a ground-floor taproom with basic drinks, a second-floor parlor with craft cocktails, and a third private floor for parties.

Muldoon, now a silent partner at The Dead Rabbit, is opening a sister bar, Hazel and Apple, in Charleston, South Carolina sometime this year.

The Dead Rabbit offers an array of basic beverages, as well as spirit-free, craft, and Irish coffee cocktails. The food menu includes Irish-inspired dishes such as Corned Beef Sliders, Crispy Fish and Chips, Irish Vegetable Soup, and Irish Coffee Tiramisu, along with American classics like fried chicken, burgers, and veggie burgers.

Stay tuned for further details as this exciting project progresses in Boston.
