According to a post within the Boston Restaurant Talk Facebook group, Cacao is planning to open at 64 Broad St in Boston’s Financial District. The shop’s Instagram page confirms this news.
Founded in 2020 by fiancés and Dominican Republic natives Leo Baez and Perla Rosario, Cacao specializes in a diverse range of chocolate delicacies, including bonbons, truffles, and bark. The shop also features fresh pastries sourced from Pain D’Avignon, alongside a selection of nuts, seeds, and coffee products.
Cacao is most known for its decadent hot chocolate, dubbed the “best hot chocolate in Boston” by a website reviewer. This velvety concoction is meticulously crafted with a touch of cinnamon, crowned with whipped cream, and garnished with fresh dark chocolate flakes.
The grand opening date for Cacao on Broad St has not yet been announced. What Now Boston has reached out to the owners and will update this page as more details emerge.
