In a recent newsletter, Life Love Cheese owner Kimi Ceridon announced the lease of a 1,000-square-foot space at 184 Water St in Wakefield, a development she confirmed with What Now Boston.

Originally launched in 2022 as an online grazing board and catering service, Life Love Cheese has provided Ceridon with invaluable experience in managing a small business. “But I always had my eyes on owning a neighborhood cheese shop,” she shared in her newsletter.

Currently, Life Love Cheese operates a mobile shop that appears at various farmers’ markets and events throughout the Boston Metro area. The company offers a range of beautifully arranged grazing, charcuterie, and cheese boards available for pickup, delivery, and catering, along with expert-led cheese workshops.

Ceridon told What Now Boston that the new storefront will feature an array of American artisanal cheeses and charcuterie accompaniments, as well as a sandwich counter serving a rotating selection of cheese-centric sandwiches made with local bread and seasonal produce.

In addition to the cheesy fare, Life Love Cheese will boast a curated selection of wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to go, as well as cheese-related gourmet products and gifts. The shop will also host in-store workshops on cheese and pairings.

Once the storefront opens, Ceridon plans to continue hosting seasonal cheese shop popups, particularly for the communities and businesses who have supported her journey. Eventually, she aims to wholesale her products and partner on workshops and cheese-themed events with other local businesses.

Ceridon is currently hiring for a retail and wine manager; interested parties can apply here. The Wakefield shop is undergoing renovations and is expected to open in December 2024. For the latest updates, follow Life Love Cheese on Facebook and Instagram.
