According to Boston Restaurant Talk, Rina’s Pizzeria & Cafe will soon be replaced by a new establishment called My Mother’s Cutlets. Signage for the eatery was recently spotted at the 371 Hanover St space.

This new venture is spearheaded by Nick Varano of The Varano Group (Strega North End, Fratelli), who also owned Rina’s.

Although details are still sparse, the new restaurant is expected to be a fast-casual spot with a meat-centric menu, as suggested by its name.

What Now Boston has reached out to Varano for more information and will provide updates as they become available.
