According to a Boston Business Journal report, First Watch will soon make its debut in the Boston area as part of an aggressive expansion effort. The new restaurant will be located at 1775 Washington St, Suite 770 in the Hanover Crossing shopping center.
Along with the upcoming Hanover site, more locations in the area could be opening “very soon,” according to Eric Hartman, First Watch’s Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer.
A representative for First Watch told What Now Boston that the new eatery will span approximately 3,500 square feet, featuring a covered patio and an indoor/outdoor bar. Inside, there will be 111 seats, with an additional 26 on the patio.
The restaurant is expected to create around 30 new jobs and will operate on a one-shift-per-day schedule, promoting its “No Night Shifts Ever” policy to allow staff their evenings free.
With more than 500 locations nationwide, First Watch is known for its vibrant, seasonally-inspired menu. The offerings range from classic breakfast items like French toast, pancakes, and omelets to healthier options such as avocado toast, granola, salads, and power bowls.
The Hanover restaurant will feature First Watch’s core menu, which takes an elevated approach to traditional breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings. All dishes are made to order using fresh ingredients in a kitchen free of heat lamps, microwaves, and deep fryers.
The new eatery is expected to open before the end of 2024 and will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
