A new restaurant is coming to Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood.

According to a recent Universal Hub report, Hill Kitchen plans to open at 39 Charles St, taking over a storefront that’s been vacant for two years. The Boston Licensing Board yesterday approved plans for the establishment by owner Jason Indelicato.
In addition to approving his plans, the board granted Indelicato permission to purchase the beer, wine, and liqueur license currently held by the now-closed Ginger Exchange on Huntington Ave.
In a brief conversation with What Now Boston, Indelicato mentioned he is currently out of town but will provide more details next week. However, during the board meeting, his attorney, Elizabeth Pisano, shared that Hill Kitchen plans to source ingredients exclusively from local suppliers—including Savenor’s Butcher Shop—to create a farm-to-table menu.
Pisano noted that the restaurant would enhance the “overall charm and vibrancy of Beacon Hill,” particularly in contrast to the shuttered Vineyard Vines store it will replace. (Notably, this space previously housed North River Outfitters, also owned by Indelicato.) She expressed confidence that Hill Kitchen would attract both residents and tourists.
The new restaurant will offer seating for 78 in the dining room and six at the bar, with hours extending until midnight.
