According to a report from The Boston Globe (via Boston Restaurant Talk), Anna’s Taqueria plans to launch a new location at 359 Huntington Ave at Northeastern University. The new eatery will be located in the food court of the Marino Recreation Center, taking over a space previously occupied by B.GOOD, which closed just last week.
Notably, the Anna’s location in Woburn also took over a former B.GOOD restaurant space. Both establishments are part of the Street Light Ventures portfolio, a hospitality group founded by CEO Anthony Ackil.
The original Anna’s opened its doors in Brookline in 1995 and the brand has since grown to eight locations in Cambridge’s Porter Square, Somerville’s Davis Square, Beacon Hill, Newton Highlands, Prudential Center, Longwood, and now Woburn.
Alongside its diverse selection of tacos, Anna’s offers burritos, quesadillas, bowls, and a variety of Mexican-inspired sides and take-home dishes.
While representatives from Street Light Ventures have not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Boston, The Boston Globe reports that the new Anna’s Taqueria location is expected to open in early 2025.
