According to Boston Restaurant Talk, Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. plans to establish a permanent taproom and kitchen at Arsenal Yards in Watertown, utilizing the space that’s housed its seasonal biergarten in recent years.
Located at 102 Arsenal Yards Blvd, the new establishment will sit beside the open-air River Green, right in the heart of the Arsenal Yards block.
The 4,000-square-foot venue will feature a spacious outdoor patio with ample seating, offering scenic views of Arsenal Yards Park, which includes new tennis and pickleball courts, a community garden, and a skatepark—all extending toward the Charles River, as reported by Boston Real Estate Times.
In addition to the brews, Mighty Squirrel will offer a full food menu featuring a selection of modern, elevated dishes.
Founded by brewers Naveen Pawar and Henry Manice, Mighty Squirrel launched its first taproom in 2018 and expanded to Fenway earlier this year. The brewery has gained a strong following with its craft beers, including fan favorites like Cloud Candy, Gourdgeous Pumpkin, and Cosmic Distortion.
“We’ve seen Arsenal Yards grow into such a fun and vibrant spot firsthand over the past five years, and we’re beyond excited to finally call it home,” said Pawar and Manice. “We can’t wait to open our doors to the community and become a part of it.”
While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the Arsenal Yards website reveals that Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. will debut sometime in 2025.
