Recent permits filed with the city indicate that Lazuri Bakery is preparing to open at 3 N Beacon St. This news is confirmed by the bakery’s Google Business page.

Business records show that the eatery is owned by the Canca family, who also operates authentic Mediterranean eatery Turkish Lazuri Café.

Although managing owner Rifat Canca has not yet responded to What Now Boston’s request for comment, patrons can look forward to an array of authentic Turkish pastries at Lazuri Bakery. These include baklava, sütlaç (rice pudding), and kunefe (a sweet cheese pastry)—all favorites already offered at the café.

Construction is currently underway, with permits noting updates such as new kitchen equipment, a service counter, ceramic tiling, and fresh paint.

Keep an eye out for opening day updates as Lazuri Bakery prepares to bring its Turkish treats to the area.
