The group is bringing a “modern fusion” of Indian and Mediterranean flavors to the former Worden Hall space at 22 W Broadway, according to an update from the West Broadway Neighborhood Association Facebook page.

Flying Lion is behind several local eateries, including Godavari, Boston Halal, 1947 Norwood, and the upcoming Don’t Tell Aunty. They’re also working on reviving the iconic Little Steve’s Pizzeria on Boylston St.

Koushik “Babu” Koganti, Chief Executive Officer at Flying Lion, told What Now Boston that the team is narrowing down two potential names for the forthcoming eatery: Kahaani and Karahi.

The restaurant is expected to debut in April or May of 2025. For a preview of the menu’s inspiration, take a look at 1947’s offerings here.
