A new Dave’s Hot Chicken is set to spice up Boston’s Theatre District at 123 Stuart St, thanks to Jamal Bourote, President of BGR Hospitality. Bourote inked a multi-franchise agreement with Halal Guys franchisee Imran Ashgar in 2021, hinting at the possibility of additional restaurants in the pipeline. This latest location will occupy the former site of Blaze Pizza, a strategic move for Bourote and BGR Hospitality, who also own multiple franchises of the popular pizza chain.

Born in 2017 from one shared dream and a meager $900 pooled by three childhood friends, Dave’s Hot Chicken has certainly outgrown its humble origins, evolving into an international franchise. With over 100 restaurants worldwide, Dave’s is celebrated for its Nashville-style hot chicken sliders and tenders.

While an opening date for the upcoming Stuart St location has not yet been revealed, a member of the Friends of Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook group claims to have spotted Dave’s signage on the windows of the building, suggesting an imminent opening date. With Bourote’s track record of successful ventures, Dave’s Hot Chicken promises to bring a fiery twist to the city’s Theatre District. Stay tuned for further updates as the aroma of Nashville-style hot chicken beckons from Boston.
