According to a licensing board hearing page, Eatery on Broad will soon debut at 45 Broad Street in the Financial District, taking over a former Starbucks at the corner of Broad and Water Streets.

The 1,534-square-foot space will feature a shared dining area with seating for up to 18 patrons, a communal kitchen, and three individual kiosks for Mini Donut Diva, Pasta Factory, and Fat Sandwich Boss. All three eateries will be overseen by founder Melissa Frettoloso.

Mini Donut Diva and Pasta Factory are relocating from their Roxbury ghost kitchen, while Fat Sandwich Boss will make its Boston debut at this new location.

Established in the fall of 2023, Mini Donut Diva specializes in handcrafted, made-to-order mini donuts. With the relocation, the bakery will expand its offerings to include new base options like chocolate and blueberry, as well as gluten-free and vegan choices. Customers will also be able to design their own donuts.

Meanwhile, Pasta Factory allows guests to tailor their pasta dishes with a range of pasta shapes, sauces, proteins, vegetables, and extras, ensuring each dish is a “unique masterpiece.”

A fast-casual concept made famous in New Jersey, Fat Sandwich Boss is known for its indulgent “fat sandwiches” packed with hearty ingredients like burgers, chicken fingers, and mozzarella sticks. The brand will also offer a “Not So Fat Menu” with healthier options.

In addition to the food, Frettoloso plans to host “fun and impactful” events at Eatery on Broad to support the community, non-profits, and other worthy causes.

“[Eatery on Broad] will offer a whole new experience for our customers… moving beyond our current pick-up-only setup,” Frettoloso told What Now Boston. “It will be a significant expansion of our services, providing a vibrant, mini food hall atmosphere in our new, more accessible location.”

Frettoloso hopes to debut Eatery on Broad in October of 2024.
