According to a recent article from Boston.com, Life Alive Organic Cafe is preparing to launch its eleventh eatery in the Boston area, situated at 435 S Huntington Ave in Jamaica Plain. CEO Bryan Timko said that the fast-casual cafe aims to welcome patrons by late summer 2024.
The standalone site, formerly occupied by Canary Square, is undergoing renovations to create an inviting and vibrant space. Retaining the charm of its predecessor, the new 75-seat restaurant will feature reclaimed hardwood flooring from the former bar, alongside its signature large windows and garage doors. Additionally, a unique color scheme will lighten the space, complemented by bright benches and foliage across two spacious outdoor patios.
The Life Alive menu is predominately vegan, with options ranging from warm grain bowls, wraps, and breakfast items to noodle dishes, soups, small plates, açaí bowls, smoothies, and desserts. The health-conscious eatery also boasts an extensive beverage selection, including cold-pressed juices, superfood lattes, coffee, tea, kombucha, and wellness shots. Guests can even take home homemade signature sauces by the bottle.
In addition to the upcoming Jamaica Plain outlet, Life Alive has plans for two more locations to be opened in 2024, with one marking its debut outside of Massachusetts in Washington, D.C. Presently, Act III Holdings oversees the management of Life Alive, along with other beloved Boston brands such as CAVA, Tatte, and Level99.
In the wake of these expansions, Life Alive continues to solidify its position as a trailblazer in the realm of health-conscious dining.
