Veggie Crust to Expand to Waltham

It looks like a local vegan/vegetarian spot with existing locations in Somerville, Brookline, Lowell, and Norwood is set to expand to Waltham.

As reported by Boston Restaurant Talk and confirmed by the eatery’s website, Veggie Crust will soon open its fifth location at 14 Warren St. The new eatery will be a small, takeout- and delivery-only location.

The Veggie Talk menu features an eclectic mix of Italian and Indian fare, highlighting vegetarian and vegan versions of classic dishes such as pastas, pizzas, paninis, tandooris, curries, salads, and desserts. Veggie Crust also offers catering services.

Additionally, the restaurant’s website indicates that the Brookline site is kosher-certified, while the Lowell location follows Swaminarayan dietary guidelines. Owner Manjett Verma said that the upcoming restaurant will be kosher-certified under KVH supervision.

According to a spokesperson for the eatery, the new Veggie Crust will open on May 2, 2024, if all goes as planned.
